In My (web)Sites | 40 Free Fonts
This is a great website from Smashing Magazine that features over 40 free fonts. Now, sometimes free fonts from the internet can be sketchy at best, but these are lovely, well designed, and mostly all Open Type fonts. So take a little vacation from the default and give these a try.

oh wow. those are some fantastic fonts. there has to be some terrible catch.
