in My (web)Sites | Linotype FontExplorer X
FontExplorer X is a free font management program that will help you keep your sanity when trying to find the perfect font for a project. There are other font management programs out there that will cost you quite a bit, but if you are just starting out, this will do just fine. I have thousands of fonts on my Mac and sorting through them is now a breeze. You can organize them anyway you choose: tag them, name them, make cute little font folders, whatever you heart pleases. You can activate/deactivate fonts so every font is not being uploaded when you open Quark or what not. I can spend hours monkey-ing around with this nifty little program.
Check it out, y'all.

whoa. I think despite being in different classes we're learning the EXACT same things. I downloaded this the other day.. It's like the itunes of fonts.. lovely
I have actually had this program for about a year now, but it never gets boring. I keep organizing and re-organizing all the fonts. I can never get sick of it.
